Combining a heritage of optical craftmanship and expertise in contemporary design, Dunelm Optical is excited to announce the launch of ‘Freya’, a new and visually stunning eyewear brand to their portfolio.
Freya, meaning ‘Pretty Girl’, is a blend of sophisticated styles, eye catching design and in vogue colours. Scandinavian inspired combined with innovative British design, Dunelm’s ethos of using premium quality materials and depth for detail, ensure this vibrant collection will fill the gap in the adult female optical market.
Woman that wear Freya can be anything - a career woman, a mother, a woman about town, an intellectual, a socialite. She knows how to have fun with style whilst maintaining a chic and refined aura. She is self-assured, fashion forward and poised. The fabulous Freya collection delivers ‘eye candy’ with a fresh feel that is sure to be embraced by the stylish, independent woman of today.
Affordable yet unquestionably distinctive, the Freya brand is aspirational. Every frame comes with a lipstick red gloss case, stylishly embossed with the Freya logo and contrasting black velveteen interior, complete with a luxury branded cloth. Within the case is a unique name card detailing the meaning of the female name of the frame.
The Freya customer will be attracted by this authentic product, its origins, stylish design, quality and craftmanship. Using the finest materials and Italian Mazzucchelli acetate the frames are light but durable, extremely comfortable to wear, chic in design and strong on personality.
22 frames with each offering three colours adorn this bright and impressive collection. Stockists can take advantage of a discount when ordering all-in glazed and free merchandise materials include; display stand, poster, showcard and logo block to complete the Freya experience.
The new Freya collection introduces ‘Sophia’, meaning wise. Made from the finest Italian high density acetate, Sophia is luxuriously light weight and available in Ombre Bordeaux & Cherry, Ombre Azure & Aqua (featured) and Ombre Amethyst & Hot Pink. The vivid colour palette, seamlessly blended from one colour to another is accentuated by the soft curves. Simplicity, juxtaposed by vibrant hues makes Sophia fashion forward and sassy, reflecting the current seasons ultra violet trends.
‘Zoe’, meaning life, has a vintage 1950’s vibe, upswept style and cat eye shape. Creative, strong and unique, Zoe is available in Ebony & Poppy Red (featured), Jet & Tropical Green and Jet & Orchid Mauve. Opulent red, synonymous with the Freya look, decorates the inside whilst a stylish amber animal print sweeps over the brow merging into a beautiful floral glaze that embellishes each corner and the tips. Zoe oozes personality and should be worn to be noticed.
‘Cheryl’, meaning dear one, is petite and semi-rimless with a subtle upswept metal top and metal sides with mottled acetate tips. Available in Maroon & Gold, Noir & Silver and Plum & Gold (featured), Cheryl is discreet and dignified with a contemporary twist. Understated yet sophisticated, the gold metallic sheen will turn heads as one of this seasons ’must have’ colour additions to the fashion savvy wearer.
Product Development Director for Dunelm Optical, Oliver Beaumont says; “Our market research has shown there was a gap in the independent optical market for every day, contemporary and flattering adult female eyewear. The Freya collection brings affordable designer eyewear that oozes femininity, style, luxury and finesse. We are confident that the Freya brand will become an unforgettable name amongst today's modern women”.
The Freya collection will be available to view in Paris, 28 - 30 September 2018 at the ‘Hotel Kyriad, Roissey Villepinte’ which is superbly situated adjacent to the Silmo exhibition, or by contacting your Regional Sales Manager.
