“These days, eyewear is not just a necessity but also a fashion accessory and customers take their eyewear style from leading fashion trends as seen on the catwalks. The catwalks at London SS18 were awash with floral print and pattern, bringing expressive blooms and pretty botanicals to life and Dunelm Optical have a range of eyewear inspired by nature to fit these on trend styles.”
New for 2018 and available all-in glazed, Paul Costelloe MOD 5210 is duo laminate with a sophisticated cat eye shape. Featured in Bronzed Brown but also available in Intense Burgundy and Plush Purple. Rich golden hues and gloss stone grey shades of the abstract design on each side evokes an ethereal image of pebbles glistening beneath clear waters.
Floral blooms unfold along the sides of Ascari MOD 037, new for 2018 and available all-in glazed. A metal frame with acetate tips and round shape. Available in colours inspired by the earths elements and environment; Fiery Red, Springtime Lilac and Deep Blue. The ornate flower print on each side is framed within a stylish vintage look trim, adding a nod to 1960’s decoration whilst embracing modern design.
With regards to sustainable products in the eyewear sector, Peter Beaumont, CEO says, “Awareness of sustainability and being eco-friendly is something our company is always considering. Whilst we have not seen an increased demand for recyclable frames, it is our responsibility as a frame manufacturer to consider environmental impact and respond accordingly.”
